Matteo Jorgenson (Movistar Team to Team Visma | Lease a Bike)
Although he was already a rider who was viewed as someone with serious potential, Matteo Jorgenson immediately recognized that potential when he joined Team Visma | has joined Rent a bike for the 2024 season.

After finishing 2nd overall at the Volta ao Algarve in February, the Colombian broke new ground in the Grand Tour at the Giro d’Italia and achieved his best three-week result ever when he finished 2nd behind the dominant Maglia Rosa winner Tadej Pogacar took the final podium. After being drafted into BORA’s Vuelta a Espana line-up at the last minute, Martinez supported Roglic in his success in the red jersey.
Jonathan Milan (Bahrain – Victorious for Lidl-Trek)
After breaking through in 2023, Italian sprint star Jonathan Milan earned a big-money move to Lidl-Trek for the 2024 season. Milan didn’t let up for a second either and continued where he left off. He successfully retained his Maglia Ciclamino jersey at the Giro d’Italia, winning three stages along the way.
There were further points ranking victories in 2024 at races such as Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana, Tirreno-Adriatico and the Deutschland Tour, as well as notable one-day results at Gent-Wevelgem, Dwars door Vlaanderen and the BEMER Cyclassics.
Pavel Sivakov (INEOS Grenadiers to UAE Team Emirates)
Similar to Landa above, Pavel Sivakov’s signing didn’t exactly send shockwaves across the cycling world when it was first announced, but the Frenchman proved to be a very shrewd acquisition from UAE Team Emirates, who continue to emerge as the strongest team in the world World positions the peloton.
