Hole in the Wand mini golf course opens at Dalton Park in Murton
After months of anticipation, Hole in the Wand is now open at Dalton Park in Murton at the Cineworld cinema from October 19th.
The course officially opened on October 19 and players will solve puzzles under the guidance of witches and wizards and enjoy a unique adventure inspired by local landmarks such as the Penshaw Monument and Lumley Castle.
Golfers can complete nine holes of magical challenges including poisonous snakes, unicorn mysteries and more.
Richard Kaye, Center Manager at Dalton Park, said: “We are delighted to officially open The Hole in Wand at Dalton Park and offer our visitors a truly exciting and magical experience.”
“At this time of year it is incredibly exciting to add this unique wizard-themed mini golf course to our leisure offering and we are confident it will captivate both local families and visitors from further afield.”

The Hole in Wand/Potions Cauldron’s first-ever Little Wizards experience will soon be available in Dalton Park.
The idea is to create a magical space for toddlers and young children, with a wand shop, a magician’s kitchen, a ball pit and a café offering sweets, potions and merchandise.
