Alpecin-Deceuninck and Bahrain Victorious complete the 2025 squads
Alpecin-Deceuninck announced the addition of six riders to its WorldTour squad for the upcoming season, completing the roster of 29 riders.
Bahrain Victorious also assembled a team of 30 riders for the 2025 season by adding three neo-pros and signing Mathijs Paasschens from Lotto Dstny.
Alpecin-Deceuninck will say goodbye to seven drivers at the end of 2024, with Jason Osborne and Ramon Sinkeldam retiring. Søren Kragh Andersen moves to Lidl-Trek, Nicola Conci to Astana and Axel Laurance to Ineos Grenadiers.
The six new drivers are the only new additions, four of which come from the team’s development team and two from outside the organization. Maurice Ballerstedt and Senne Leysen remained without a contract.
Gal Glivar signed with the UAE Team Emirates development team after one race. Simon Dehairs, Ramses Debruyne, Emiel Verstrynge and Tibor Del Grosso – all part of the Alpecin-Deceuninck development team – took part in selected events with the WorldTour team this year. In 2025 they will become full-time employees, all on two-year contracts.
The team also signed former U23 time trial world champion Johan Price-Pejtersen from Bahrain Victorious.
Price-Pejtersen said: “Alpecin-Deceuninck has clearly established itself as a dominant force in cycling in recent years, with a strong winning culture and an uncompromising commitment to performance. This is exactly the type of environment I want to be a part of.”

Glivar, who won the Tour of Sharaj this season, is eyeing a future appearance in the Tour de France. “I’m a rider with skills for short, explosive climbs and I’m not slow in a small group sprint. My short-term goal is to get a smooth start to the WorldTour,” said Glivar. “My long-term goal is to win some big races and take part in the Tour de France.”
Alpecin-Deceuninck has also extended Stan Van Tricht to complete its 29-man team for 2025.
Meanwhile, Bahrain Victorious signed Mathijs Paasschens from Lotto Dstny and added neo-pros Afonso Eulálio, Roman Ermakov and Oliver Stockwell.
“I’ve tried to improve step by step over the last few years,” said Paasschens. “I am looking forward to this next step in my career and believe that the professional environment and ambition within the team will help me to develop even further.”
“I want to prove myself as a valuable driver that the team can count on. I can’t wait to meet the whole team at training camp in December.”
Bahrain Victorious has added nine new drivers for 2025, in addition to the four announced on Wednesday. Žak Eržen, Daniel Skerl and Max van der Meulen have signed from the CTF Victorious development team, while Vlad Van Mechelen has signed from the DSM development team.
The biggest new addition to the team is Lenny Martinez from Groupama-FDJ.
With the completion of the team, Yukiya Arashiro, Ahmed Madan, Dušan Rajković, Cameron Scott and Łukasz Wiśniowski are heading for new shores.
Wout Poels traveled to Astana, Price Pejtersen to Alpecin and Jasha Sütterlin to Jayco-AlUla.
